In 2027, the current barcode for the cash register, the GS1 ean-128, will be replaced worldwide by an “intelligent” QR code. This code does not refer to a web page but to GS1 digital link, which allows multiple applications with one code.

Storytelling in the fruit and vegetable chain or active in ICT for these applications, we would like to invite you a round table about the (im)possibilities of this new technology for companies in the fresh produce sector. Think of:

  • Pay at the cash register;
  • Consumer information with and without an app;
  • Product information for store employees;
  • Offers & promotions.

If you work in Marketing, Sales or Storytelling in the fruit and vegetable chain or are active in ICT for these applications, we would like to invite you to a round table about the (im)possibilities of this new technology for companies in the fruit and vegetable sector.
